In 1853, Levi Strauss, an immigrant from Bavaria, opened a dry goods company in San Francisco at the height of the California Gold Rush. While he was working, he recognized a need among hardworking people: clothes build to endure anything. He and tailor Jacob Davis combined copper rivet reinforcements with tough denim, leading to the first manufactured waist overalls in 1873.

Challenge

Headquartered in San Francisco, Levi’s has branded stores all over the world with hundreds of different products. The company’s customers have a strong relation with the brand. Levi’s need continuously to innovate and build a rapport with their end customers. In order to be ahead and differentiate themselves from the fast fashion retailers, they need to identify trends over all countries and be very quick in the answers they give to the market. Levi’s was looking for a solution helping them improving internal communication within one tool, where they could take pictures securely and exchange ideas based on all photos coming from more than 20 different countries.

The company previously tried a lot of different solutions without satisfaction. Other solutions were inappropriate as finding back photos in chat feeds and interaction with the compliant internal tools was almost impossible, leading them to use residential products that didn’t quit fit their needs.

Solution
